The Bonkerz Seal of Approval
Google defines Seal of Approval as a status or a recognition given to a product, service, or concept that meets certain criteria created by an organization or person.
The Bonkerz Seal of Approval is required before any comic can work for Bonkerz. These requirements include a commitment to professionalism, as well as providing a great experience for the audience. Bonkerz’ comics are given an itinerary for each venue that outlines show times, content requirements, contact information, lodging details and even a minimum time frame they must appear at the venue before the show.
Bonkerz’ comics typically work multiple Bonkerz venues every year. Some of our headlining comedians work as much as half of their calendar year just working for us. Their actions at each of our venues relates to their employment at all of our venues. Doing a good job in one location is how they earn the opportunity to work all of our locations. The converse is also true, so you can rest assured that the Bonkerz Seal of Approval is not easily earned and something that comics must maintain in order to perform at any and all Bonkerz locations.

Quevaughn Bryant
Quevaughn Bryant has a unique brand of society-based humor, which he calls “mediajuana,” combines societies stinging social commentary with stand-up comedy to challenge society, government, and the media. Quevaughn is the resident mentor to the comedians of the generations tour, pulling from his invaluable experiences on the road, as a published writer, and as an accomplished lecturer.
Bryant is a stand-up comedian and he loves what he does. Quevaughn Bryant pronounced (q-von) may be a strange name to look at in print, but his comedy is certainly no stranger to the American comedy scene. His unique style and brand of society based humor has long been a favorite of audiences across the country, consistently proving to be a refreshing change from the comedy norm. His comedy show combines poignant social commentary, complete silliness and stand-up comedy that creates an atmosphere of uproarious laughter that will leave you laughing as well as thinking…long after the show is over.
If comedy were music, Quevaughn says his show would be a mix of jazz, country, r&b, rock and opera, melded together with a symphony of comedic strings that creates a tune that we can all relate to, and in the end that’s what it’s all about, using comedy to bring us all together to laugh at the different things about us that makes our society whole, so that we can continue on enjoying life a little bit more.
Quevaughn’s unique brand of society based humor has long been a favorite of audiences across the country. Using issues from the current headlines, this performer encourages the audience to reexamine the status quo and occasionally our own values in a way that will leave you laughing as well as thinking…long after the show is over. Quevaughn Bryant likes to talk. In his one-man show, “Mediajuana,” he spends an hour and 15 minutes offering his opinions on many of the hot-button topics in the news recently. He says that smokers suing tobacco companies are wrong. He says that the U.S. justice system is badly flawed because O.J. Simpson didn’t get thrown in jail. He asks: What did Princess Diana really do for society, besides look good all the time? He dumps on both the political left and the right–President Clinton is not spared but neither is Steve Forbes.
Bryant says that the show, part comedy, part social commentary, is “not about changing opinions.” Instead, he says, “it’s about starting a dialogue.” After 10 years in the stand-up comedy business, Bryant began gathering outtakes from his performances, the things that either weren’t funny or were unworkable in a straight comedy show. Catch Quevaughn Bryant lighting up audiences from sea to shining sea in a comedy club, casino or college campus near you!
