The Bonkerz Seal of Approval
Google defines Seal of Approval as a status or a recognition given to a product, service, or concept that meets certain criteria created by an organization or person.
The Bonkerz Seal of Approval is required before any comic can work for Bonkerz. These requirements include a commitment to professionalism, as well as providing a great experience for the audience. Bonkerz’ comics are given an itinerary for each venue that outlines show times, content requirements, contact information, lodging details and even a minimum time frame they must appear at the venue before the show.
Bonkerz’ comics typically work multiple Bonkerz venues every year. Some of our headlining comedians work as much as half of their calendar year just working for us. Their actions at each of our venues relates to their employment at all of our venues. Doing a good job in one location is how they earn the opportunity to work all of our locations. The converse is also true, so you can rest assured that the Bonkerz Seal of Approval is not easily earned and something that comics must maintain in order to perform at any and all Bonkerz locations.

Nick Gaza
Nick Gaza is a Funny, Sick, Twisted bastard. His act is a mixture of hysterical true stories and things we can only hope aren’t true. Nick makes fun of everyone, the audience, himself and anyone else that gets in his sights. His comedy knows no boundaries so be warned!!!!! But if you’re the kind of person who laughs at things you know you shouldn’t, then Nick’s comedy show is something you Must See! Nick has made dozens of sitcom appearances including The Drew Carey Show, Malcolm in the Middle and Becker.
Though he still plays the comedy clubs, Gaza said he concentrates more on acting and writing these days. His more recent work has included an appearance as a drummer on NBC’s “Empty Nest” and an as-yet unreleased children’s video. Gaza said he is also writing a sitcom for himself, which he hopes to pitch to the networks next year. He declined to detail the show’s specifics, but loosely described it as a “bachelor cooking show.”
Though Gaza admitted the entertainment business isn’t all bright lights and big paychecks for aspiring actors such as himself, he said he’s happy with his chosen profession. Nick has made dozens of sitcom appearances including The Drew Carey Show, Malcolm in the Middle and Becker. Nick feels that the (comedy) business has changed quite drastically the last few years. A lot of the places that did comedy have closed down. His brother is a salesman and he gets told no every day, too. “Ultimately, he can tolerate all those “Nos” because he believes one day someone will say “Yes. “Gaza’s friends and family have also contributed to his perseverance. He said he comes home every four months or so to visit and perform. Nick Garza feels there is no place in the world like East Chicago, he really does get a feeling that the people here are rooting for him to make it.
