The Bonkerz Seal of Approval
Google defines Seal of Approval as a status or a recognition given to a product, service, or concept that meets certain criteria created by an organization or person.
The Bonkerz Seal of Approval is required before any comic can work for Bonkerz. These requirements include a commitment to professionalism, as well as providing a great experience for the audience. Bonkerz’ comics are given an itinerary for each venue that outlines show times, content requirements, contact information, lodging details and even a minimum time frame they must appear at the venue before the show.
Bonkerz’ comics typically work multiple Bonkerz venues every year. Some of our headlining comedians work as much as half of their calendar year just working for us. Their actions at each of our venues relates to their employment at all of our venues. Doing a good job in one location is how they earn the opportunity to work all of our locations. The converse is also true, so you can rest assured that the Bonkerz Seal of Approval is not easily earned and something that comics must maintain in order to perform at any and all Bonkerz locations.

Bobby Wayne Stauts
Bobby Wayne Stauts is from Mississippi, but he is not your average southerner.
Headed West
Bobby Wayne Stauts’ upbringing guaranteed him to have a unique life. He was raised in a mechanic shop by a father that was addicted to drag racing and a mother that was addicted to women. His parents split when he was young. Therefore, the days of his youth were shared between Georgia and Mississippi. Bobby moved to Texas and got married shortly after his high school graduation. Then, he opened a business building custom cars. Unfortuantely both of those situations ended up failing. As a result, he loaded up three garbage bags full of clothes and without rhyme or reason, headed West.
Las Vegas Strip Regular
Bobby decided to vanish into the mobs of tourists passing through Las Vegas. Shortly after, a group of friends convinced Bobby that he should try stand up. He agreed to try it, in an attempt to prove them wrong. But it turns out his friends had the right idea. Today Bobby headlined over 40 colleges and universities, appeared on a handful of major television networks and is a regular on the Las Vegas strip. Make some time to check out Bobby Wayne Stauts. You’ll never look at southern folks the same after you do!
Podcasts & more
Stauts co-hosts the podcast “Rise to Offend.” In addition, he hosted a comedy presentation at the Life is Beautiful festival. In turn, he found that Las Vegas audiences will accept political jokes that are aimed not at specific candidates, but at the political process itself. Jokes based on the nuances of American politics might be a tough sell for Las Vegas audiences. Bobby says most of his humor is “…based on the visual. There is no political humor based on people’s policies or anything like that. It’s more or less making fun of the way people look and the way they act.”
