The Bonkerz Seal of Approval
Google defines Seal of Approval as a status or a recognition given to a product, service, or concept that meets certain criteria created by an organization or person.
The Bonkerz Seal of Approval is required before any comic can work for Bonkerz. These requirements include a commitment to professionalism, as well as providing a great experience for the audience. Bonkerz’ comics are given an itinerary for each venue that outlines show times, content requirements, contact information, lodging details and even a minimum time frame they must appear at the venue before the show.
Bonkerz’ comics typically work multiple Bonkerz venues every year. Some of our headlining comedians work as much as half of their calendar year just working for us. Their actions at each of our venues relates to their employment at all of our venues. Doing a good job in one location is how they earn the opportunity to work all of our locations. The converse is also true, so you can rest assured that the Bonkerz Seal of Approval is not easily earned and something that comics must maintain in order to perform at any and all Bonkerz locations.

Alex Ansel
Alex Ansel went from selling TV’s to being on TV within a year of Circuit City Closing down
KOOLAID
Ansel, a lifelong clown, was born in Texas, just to spend the first ten years of his life in Germany. Afterwards, he spent his adolescence in various air conditioned buildings perfecting his videogame high scores. As a Nerd of Texas-size proportions, he was christened with the Nickname ‘KOOLAID’ in Middle School. Figuring there were worse nicknames to get, he stuck with it ever since.
Comedy Competition
He’s a Fat guy from a Hispanic City, that dresses like rapper, has two Dads that are married…to each other, and has family in the Military. It is all these experiences that Alex, aka KOOLAID, draws from. As a result, they helped him win his first Comedy Competition with the Title “Funniest Person in South Texas”. Notably, he is the youngest comedian to have won the Title.
Appearances
Alex has appeared on CBS, NBC and FOX affiliates in his hometown of San Antonio. In addition, Alex even performed at the Boston Comedy Festival, and Won RAWartists “Performer of the Year” in San Antonio. Not to mention, he was recently handpicked to open on tour with WWE Hall of Fame Pro Wrestler, Jake “The Snake” Roberts for The “Unspoken Word Tour”. In conclusion, Alex hoped to live up to his namesake of KOOLAID by putting smiles on faces and getting people to say “Oh Yeah”.
