Mick Lazinski from HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central and more
April 19 at 8:00 pm EDT
Mick Lazinski has been a comedy force since his early days at the Improv and Comedy Store in L.A., skyrocketing from opener to headliner in just six months. With 25+ TV stand‑up appearances, he went on to open for major stars — including 10 years with Joan Rivers, where he became one of her favorite writers. Mick also opened for George Carlin when Carlin was preparing for his 14th and last HBO Special. Offering suggestions to Carlin, George thanked Mick and said, “I write all my own stuff.” He was one of a kind! Mick was featured on CNN’s History of Comedy, portraying actor Jack Nicholson on The Ben Stiller Show in a parody of the movie, “A Few Good Men” called “A Few Good Scouts”. The clip was viewed at the Emmy Awards when Stiller won an Emmy for Outstanding Writing. Mick co-wrote the segment.
