A crowd favorite at teaching conventions\, Mr. Rivera delivers “teachable moments” packed with high-energy humor. He can deliver an entire show devoted to teaching. Mr. Rivera’s toured the United States\, Europe\, and the Caribbean. He rolls through a fast-paced set chock-full of clever observations and quick-witted jokes on everything from fatherhood and teaching to relationships. Whether headlining another club or featuring as a keynote\, class is in session when Mr. Rivera takes the stage. \n  \nWe are located inside the former Why Not Lounge (now Rayn Lounge). VIP tickets include front row seating.  The majority of the club and all of the VIP area consists of communal tables. Food & full liquor bar available. There is a 2 item minimum purchase per person. 21 & up welcome.  Must arrive 1 hour prior to showtime for seating. After 5:30pm the day of the show\, tickets are only available at the door. Advanced general admission tickets are $12 + $2.95 service fee=$14.95 (plus tax). Day of show general admission tickets are $15 + $2.95 service fee=$17.95 (plus tax). Advanced VIP tickets are $15 + $3.95 service fee=$18.95 (plus tax). Day of Show VIP tickets are $20 + $4.95 service fee=$24.95 (plus tax). Tickets are non-refundable. \n

His first appearance as a Comedian was at the Village Gate in Greenwich Village\, NYC in 1992. From that point on he knew where his heart lied\, on stage performing in front of an audience.  A constant professional that maintains his focus and pleasant demeanor off and on stage. All this is branded by three things that were taught to him by his late Mother; “above all\, be professional\, be polite and always be on time…because the show must go on”. \n  \nWe are located inside The Station. So in his own twisted way he does. He gives you “tips”. Uncle Lar’ offers tips on everything from marriage to lotteries to children. Always topping them off with\, “That’s a tip from your Uncle Lar’.”  Reeb is a strong\, distinct\, classic character\, with sarcastic attitude and a sardonic wit. He conveys his concepts with rapid fire one liners. “It’s a sick world and I’m a happy guy”\, Reeb proudly announces after stating his particularly twisted observations. Reeb didn’t invent obscene phone calls or adultery\, but he makes his living talking about them. In a perfect world Uncle Lar’ would be unemployed. Uncle Lar’ is a regular on “The Bob & Tom Show”\, syndicated in over 100 markets. Larry has been voted Chicago Comedian of the Year\, and has made numerous television and radio appearances.
