Above all, Steven Roberts is a funny, expressive comedian, originally from the border town of El Paso, TX. Today he lives in Sin City. He is a tenured emcee in Las Vegas clubs including The Laugh Factory, Las Vegas Live Comedy Club, and L.A. Comedy Club. He is probably best known as the host and producer of the highly regarded, underground, new-material-only show, THE STOOL. Notably, comedians such as Marsha Warfield, Paul Ogata, Butch Bradley and Erik Myers made appearances on the stage of this “risk everything” show.
Respect
In turn, the show brought Steven much attention and respect in the Vegas comedy scene. So much respect that he is now the resident host for The Marsha Warfield Experience, starring legendary comedian Marsha Warfield. Not to mention, he also hosts and produces the very popular midnight show, L.A. Comedy Club’s Roast Battle, which is now a permanent fixture in the club’s midnight series of shows.

Goofy but to the point, sweet but sarcastic, lovable but loyal to the truth, Steven Roberts delivers comedy that everyone can enjoy. Recently, he was a featured comedian at Wendy Liebman’s Locally Grown Comedy Showcase hosted by renowned comedian Wendy Liebman. He is a featured comedian at the Big Pine Comedy Festival in Flagstaff, AZ, as part of their Pride Showcase. He enjoyed opening across the country for such comedians as Wendy Liebman, Bob Zany, Brian Scolaro, Steve Schaffer and Guy Torry.

In addition, Steven directed and taught theatre and acting classes at a university level. Originally from the desert southwest, he now happily calls Las Vegas home with his wonderful husband of thirteen years, their son and two Yorkies. To conclude, his hilarious commentary on living in Vegas, being a latent Texan, and the joys of gay fatherhood delight audiences from all walks of life.
