Preacher Lawson was born In Portland, Oregon, but was raised most of his adolescence in Memphis, TN. Before age 10, he moved 20 times, but if you asked him what city he is from he’d say Orlando, FL. Because that’s where he grew up as a comedian. Growing up switching schools all of the time you had to learn how to adapt. Everywhere I’d go I would learn about different people and different cultures, but I noticed the one universal language everyone had in common was laughter. Which is how I spoke and warmed up to most people. Even when I wasn’t the funniest I was still the loudest.
Preacher Lawson started writing jokes when he was 16 years old for about a year, then decided to perform for the first time at age 17 as a bet between him and his mother. Best decision of his life. Preacher says to everybody reading this, that he wants to give a special thank you to you the fan for utilizing this page, because he has to pay every month for it and he claims he is not rich. He had to choose between this website or Netflix. You made it worth missing The Flash.
Preacher Lawson, who started doing stand-up when he was only 17, got his start in the open mics and showcases around town before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time career.
Preacher Lawson brought his best stand-up material performing in front of judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Mel B., Simon Cowell and Tyra Banks tonight, he performed the song from the video Walking in My Underwear.
