Don’t let his youthful appearance fool you. Marques started his comedy career back in 1996 at the tender age of 21. His first night onstage was an open mic contest at Crackers Comedy Club in Indianapolis, IN. After winning the amateur portion that night, Marques was hooked. Just a few years later Marques ascended to the professional ranks and has been a touring comic ever since. Raised in blue collar Kokomo, IN, has lent Marques an abundance of material everyone can relate to.
With his dead-on impressions, unique perspectives and sharp delivery he “WOWS” audiences all across the country leaving them wondering, “how does he do that?” Marques ‘act has been described as clean, clever, and original. He has performed at numerous comedy clubs and venues throughout the United States. Growing up, Marques Bunn never considered himself the class clown, but he did write for him. Marques has been heard on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show” and has been seen on Fox TV. This truly gifted performer is someone not to be missed.
He’s sure to be a favorite you’ll no doubt want back again and again. He looks like 19, right? Even though he mentions that he started in 1996 at age 21. He’s not good at math, but that makes him approximately … WAY older than he looks. Regardless of his age, though, Marques Bunn (pronounced like Marcus) is another guy who can bring the funny. He’s an Indiana guy and although he’s not on his transcontinental grind the way Luke Francis is, he’s made his way onto the Bob & Tom Show, he travels to festivals and comedy competitions and he’s definitely got a knack for low key, subtle joke telling and a good number of impressions to dip into.
This guy is clearly working his butt off. He goes from coast to coast and to all other points continental extracting laughs from club crowds, festival mobs and TV audiences alike. And he has the talent to match the work ethic.
