Karen Fitzgerald

Karen Fitzgerald also participated in a number of charity fundraisers (there’s usually an open bar), and played the coveted role of “Atmosphere” on a couple of TV shows. One of her brightest and proudest moments was recently getting to work with legendary comedian Larry Miller – One of the all-time greats in the comedy business!  He watched Karen’s set and took the time to talk to her about comedy…AND said how much he enjoyed her show! She has his laughter on tape, so she can prove it.

Growing up, Karen had moved around a lot because of her dad’s job.  Making people laugh became a natural way to fit in and make new friends, but it wasn’t till her late thirties that she decided to take it out there and spread the love.  Karen has always had the ability to laugh at herself, people and everyday life, so she never runs out of new material! Sarcastic and a Drama Queen and a few Channels Short of Cable describes this funny woman, and is not the best skills for a career on Wall Street, but PERFECT for the life of a comedienne!

Karen Fitzgerald has always been able to make people laugh and always saw the world a little upside down and backwards. This ability has been very helpful in her career as a stand-up comedienne!
