Jody Kerns

Jody Kerns has been seen performing standup comedy of in concert at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, the Bradley Theatre and the Upper Cumberland Expo Center, to name a few. Jody’s television appearances include the Emmy Award winning NBC film,  A Woman Named Jackie,  The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, as well as weatherperson duties in Williamsburg, VA. Leaping into the 21st Century, Jody’s show was broadcast on Live on the NET. A Nationally touring standup comic since 1989, she has performed from New York City to Miami to El Paso to St Louis in comedy clubs such as Bonkerz, the Improv, Coconuts, Uncle Funnys and Hilarities. Jody Kerns is a southern belle that kicks like a mule! Coming to the stage looking like a soccer mom and then blowing you away with her take on kids, drugs, sex, marriage…you name it, she talks about it. She ain’t shy about nothing! And she has no fear, because she has raised five kids! She’s seen it all and done it all when it comes to living life, and she’ll be more than happy to tell you about it and then give you a lap dance! When she breaks out her guitar, everyone becomes a part of the show and they keep begging for more. When she’s done, your cheeks and sides will hurt. This little lady has got it going on. Jody Kerns, a mother of five in her late 50s who talks about everything from motherhood to marital relationships. Jody Kerns has raised two sons, so she knows Fear. Jody Lives with her husband Michael and dog Bubba on a golf course in Lake Mary, FL. Her first television performance was as a featured tap dancer at the tender age of five. She was a cheerleader throughout her school years, twirled baton, played flute and piano, sang soprano in the school choir and was vice president of her junior and senior class. Jody Kerns can churn butter and laughter at the same time. Jody Kerns entertains with a wry, homespun look at the foibles of modern life including growing up on a farm, marriage and raising children. Jody happily customizes her material for the audience, squeaky-clean for conventions and slightly naughty for those who prefer a spicier show.
